The artist, Andras Gombar, was born in Hungary in 1946. He is a member of a well known artistic family. His father is an internationally known graphic artist and his sister a highly respected theatrical costume designer presently working with the Ballet Company of Gyor. Andras is best known for his modern still lifes painted with the intricate details found in the golden age of Dutch still life painting. Mr. Gombar has participated in many international exhibitions including Austria, 1964; Italy, 1976 and England, 1980. Country: Hungary
